How to receive mail from other mailboxes ?
Ans:
* Google has announced that it will no longer provide unlimited space after July 2022. Therefore, the Center no longer recommends sending school mail and other private mail to Google Workspace in order to avoid insufficient space.
It is recommended to use this instruction to set for using Google Workspace to receive 'school mail accounts' or 'other private mail accounts'.
* This instruction uses the POP3 protocol to receive emails other than Gmail.
** The following instruction is the example of @mail.ncku.edu.tw :
If you want to receive Outlook mail, please refer to Microsoft online description.
If you want to receive Yahoo mail, please refer to Yahoo online description.
If you want to receive Gmail, forward the email to Google Workspace from your original Gmail. Don't receive emails from POP.
It periodically connects the school mailbox to receive mail ( @mail.ncku.edu.tw ).
Advantages : There will be no missed letters when Gmail receives the school mail.
Disadvantages : Gmail mailbox will be delayed ( about 40min ~ 1H ). Because the Gmail mailbox is spacibility connected to the school mailbox, the school mail will not be received immediately.
